You can save time at the counter when you activate Accelerated Check-in online. Just provide your driver's license and contact information that are normally collected at pick-up and we will be ready when you arrive. You'll be on the road and on vacation before you know it!
Returning your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. We'll tell you where to park it; just drop the keys in the dropbox and you're on your way!
Skip the rental counter lines and check-in directly by using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. Check-in using the kiosk and a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed. You'll be directed to your rental car on the lot. At the exit booth, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and simply drive away.
No need to visit the counter or kiosk. You can go straight to your car!
In order to take advantage of this optional free service, you'll need to activate Accelerated Check-in online then choose the 'Skip the Counter' option. You will be required to confirm your protection options, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions and enter a valid credit card (no charge is made until you return your vehicle). Simply print your rental agreement to bring with you, and you are all set! Go directly to your car, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and get on the road!

Key return outside of business hours:
If you wish to return the vehicle outside of our business hours, please follow the instructions below:
Proceed to the parking area and park the vehicle at the back of the agency.
Make sure to remove all your personal belongings from the vehicle.
Drop the keys into the key drop box located at the back of the rental counter, under the "Vehicle Returns" sign.
Please note that if you choose to return the vehicle outside of our business hours, you will remain responsible for the vehicle and its condition until it is inspected by a staff member of the Owner. This inspection will take place within 2 hours of the start of the next business day.
To rent a vehicle, the renter must have held a full driving license for a minimum of 1 year for Mini, Economy and Compact (excl Elite) vehicles; 3 years for Intermediate Standard vehicles (excl Standard Passenger Van) Full size Commercial Van; 7 years for Compact Elite, Full size Premium vehicles, Standard Passenger Van Commercial Box Van. 10 years for Luxury vehicles. The minimum age to rent is 18 years old. All drivers under the age of 25 will be subject to an additional daily charge.
The additional Young Driver charges are:
- 18 to 20 years of age: 55 Euros per day; max. 825 EUR (VAT included)
- 21 to 24 years of age: 33 Euros per day; max. 462 EUR (VAT included)
Cross border travel is not permitted. Rentals can only be driven within the territory of Corsica.
Our Standard Damage Waiver Cover (DW) reduces the liability of the renter in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle.
If DW is not included in the reservation, the renter has full liability for the vehicle but can optionally purchase DW to reduce the applicable excess.
If included in the reservation or purchased, the excess amounts are:
Mini and Economy: 1500 Euros
Compact and Compact SUV: 1800 Euros
Intermediate, Int. SUV, Standard, Standard SUV and Premium SUV: 2000 Euros
Before purchasing DW it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If DW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. DW is not insurance.

One Way rentals are not available from Figari for any vehicle category. One Way rentals between Corsica, mainland France or any other country are also not allowed.
If the vehicle is not returned to the rental branch it originated from, the applicable drop fees can be up to 2000 EUR plus 2 EUR per kilometer for unauthorized drop-offs in mainland France, counting from the south coast of mainland France.
Excess Protection (EP) is an optional coverage available only if Damage Waiver (DW) is included in the rate. EP reduces the applicable Damage Waiver excess amount to zero for all cars and SUVs. For Small Cargo Vans the excess can be reduced to 250 EUR, for Medium and Intermediate Cargo Vans to 300 EUR and for Luton Cargo Vans with Tail Lift to 350 EUR.
If EP is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase. Before purchasing EP it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If EP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. EP is not insurance.
If the Renter does not choose to purchase optional fuel at the start of the rental period and does not return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental period (as stated on the rental agreement) , the Renter will have to pay a fee for the refueling service, calculated from the difference between the fuel level indicated on the rental agreement and the level recorded when the vehicle is returned multiplied by the fuel price displayed as displayed in the rental location. Unused or surplus fuel will not be refunded.
Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) is offered for an additional daily charge. PEC provides the renter and renter's passengers with insurance cover for personal effects while they travel.
In summary, the product provides cover for theft, damage or loss of baggage, electronic and mobile devices. In addition, delayed personal baggage and loss of travel documents are also covered. This is a summary only. The purchase of PEC is optional and not required to rent a car.
The coverage provided by PEC may duplicate your existing coverage and you may wish to determine if your personal coverage is adequate.
The PEC insurance coverage cannot exceed 50 days and / or a total amount of 200 EUR charged regardless of the duration of the rental period and is conditional on your compliance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and PEC policy.
This product will be available from January 1st, 2023.
The major credit cards by Amex, Mastercard and Visa are accepted. Debit cards are also accepted. Cash payments are not permitted for any rental. The deposit for all categories is 600 EUR is required at the time of rental.
When choosing the Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) as an optional addition, you can waive the financial responsibility for roadside services should you be unlucky enough to get a flat tire (excluding the rim), loose the key or need recovery as a result of a fault caused by renter error.
Please note that RAP does not apply if there is a breach of the rental agreement. Without the addition of RAP, the renter will be required to pay any applicable charges for the required roadside services.
All drivers must present a fully valid and unexpired driving license (digital licenses are not accepted). If the driving license is written in a language and characters different from those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
All renters must provide a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full license for a minimum of 1 year. All local renters must provide proof of home address in France with a utility or phone bill. Customers picking up at Charles de Gaulle Airport must provide a flight itinerary or boarding pass showing arrival and departure. Local train tickets from Paris cannot be accepted.
Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if needed which may include an identity check with an external organization.
